Yeah, it's can be a bit stressful for me when it comes to writing so much or responding in general. I can get a bit frustrated about my wording or if I don't know what to say. I also tend to worry about what I've said and how it will be taken by whoever I'm replying to. I tend to worry a lot.

I was around for the beginning of a lot of fandoms when I think of it. I got into some fandoms like Gundam Wing because of fanfic. Back then I read fic for GW, DBZ, Yu Yu Hakusho, Tenchi, Slayers, Harry Potter, Gravitation, Fake, Beyblade, Yugioh, CLAMP, and other minor fandoms. So much of the fic I recall I can't find anymore. It's so disheartening. So I feel you on the loss.

I was lucky enough to be able to read Emma as my library had it. It was good. It was like a less melodramatic Downton Abbey (well the ending was a bit dramatic, but still good). I still want to see the anime version of it. I think that's being re-released as well in a slimmer packaging. Holy crap you're right! Tokyopop is back! I'm so out of the loop! They seem to be doing a lot of e-book releases. Crazy. Glad to see them back!
I'm also a depression sufferer. I know how it is to have interests killed. I stopped reading for a long time as well. I read more now, but for a while I couldn't go into bookstore or the library without getting more depressed because I didn't want to read them. It's better now, but I still have days like that more often then I'd like. I don't know if I could help with book recs, but I find reading YA novels a bit easier as they don't tax my brain and I can view them as fluff for the most part, which makes reading easier to digest. I've finally started reading fanfic again as well. Fanfic makes me happy :D
I watch OUAT, Doctor Who, True Blood, Supernatural, Buffy, and Angel as well. I have finished Buffy and Angel (and love both of them flaws and all). Yeah, the stuff with Cordelia sucks majorly. They kinda make it better in season 5 where Cordy comes back and gets a proper sendoff, but season 4 was so cruel to her. If you can make it through s4, s5 is very very good tho. It's the funniest season to me.

I read Emma online and was enchanted by it that after reading, I went to look and see if it was licensed. Then I found out CMX manga closed down and was so disappointed. I've seen a few episodes of the anime version! It's good! The music in it is so good too! The opening and ending things are all instrumentals! Glad to hear it! I hope that you'll be able to finish the manga series that you were unable to pick up!
You do? I'm sorry to hear that. Um, I'm uncertain if I should press, but are you doing a bit better in regard to your depression? I'm sorry if that's too personal. Don't answer if you don't want to. Just want to know you're doing better. Losing interest is so damn terrible. And I'm starting to lose interest in the few things that still make me happy.
Any book recs you have would be helpful! I've been looking into YA books to read so recs for those would be much appreciated. :3 Reading fanfic makes me happy too, but it can be an exercise in frustration when trying to find fics for some of my ships.

Yay for finding GW though fic! I remember a site called GW Yaoi I think that had a green background... I always read 1x2 fic there. I wasn't a part of the ship wars in GW, but I did see some of the fights and read fics that bashed Relena to hell and back. So through fic I hated her, which I'm not proud of. Now me and her are cool, haha.
I do save fic now! AO3 and its epub/pdf file sharing ways is the best ♥ I love the fact that I can save fic to my computer now so I can go back and reread stuff. Whenever I find out a fic is only available on like LJ, I get sad because there's no handy dl button / AO3 spoiled

No it's fine. I find talking about my fight with depression helps. I am doing better. I have been lucky enough to be able to go to therapy and work out a bunch of my issues (this time. Long time sufferer here as well). I also take meds, so that helps as well to level out my moods. It is still constantly an uphill battle as I'm kinda stuck in life right now, but I leave bed, take showers, talk to friends, go for walks, which are all wins in my book (I went through a dark period where leaving my bed was like a solid victory for the day). I have slowly gained back small loves like playing video games, reading fanfics, and dancing to music, all things I had lost a passion for. I have bad days were I don't want to talk to a single living person still, but those days are fewer. If you don't mind me asking, how is your depression? (If you don't want to answer, I understand as well.)

Why Joss why indeed :( There is an amazing plot twist in season 4 that doesn't rectify her treatment at all, but still was amazing the first time I watched it.
Oh, I've heard really good things about Psych! It is on my to watch list. TV show recs? Mmmmmmmm. Between the both of us we've named the shows I love a lot. I am watching Veronica Mars right now, which I love so far. I caught bits and pieces when I was younger, but we didn't have a million cable channels, so I had to watch it at other people's places. I also love Farscape. S1 takes some time to kick into action, but S2 picks up and then S3&4 are perfection in my eyes. It's a very good scifi show. Spartacus is also amazing, but beware people die all the time in it. It's a bloody, cheesy mess, and it is so damn grand. I have a soft spot for dramas as well, so I love Brothers & Sisters, Grey's Anatomy, and Private Practice. All those shows are soapy drama fun.
I'm not active on my tumblr either. I generally like art and browse fs like communities.
Haha. I don't know how versatile I am... I mean I have my main OTP in a fandom and then I have everyone else who I ship together. The two people in my OTP I generally don't ship with anyone else. I love Snape/Harry to this day and can't ship them with other people... and it doesn't even make sense to me why I can't anymore, haha.

For GW I shipped 1x2, 3x4, 5x13. You know, the normal boring fandom ships, haha. Wufei was my free agent tho. I read any pairing with him involved.

I've been conversing with them for a year, but I can sometimes take months to reply, because of depression and such, so we've not exchanged many emails. So I'll be grateful for any recs you can give me. How often does F!S have general fic rec threads? I've thought about starting a thread searching to see if some has any copies of an author's GW fanfics that they took down, but I'm hesitant to do so. I don't know where else to really ask if anyone has any copies of those fics and tbh, I'm not sure if anyone has them. They were taken down in 2010, a few months before I got into the Gundam Wing. It does seem like we have a few ships in common, so I'm happy for that! :3
I've got a bit of fic saved, mostly GW fic, but I've got a few others. FanfictionDownloader is a godsend and so is AO3's option to download fic! Waybackmachine is another godsend, but it's frustrating when it doesn't have the page archived or the server hosting those webpages is down.
I can't think of any of GW fic that I've come across with a green background, but I do know of when with a hideous layout with a blue background that's still up and running. It's called Deb's Dragon Gundam Wing Diaries. Oh yeah, I've come across the Relena hate, but not as much as you did because I mostly stick to those four GW pairings I listed. I was pretty indifferent to her, but she's growing on me. If you saw my Gundam Wing folder, you'd think I shipped 1xR because I've been building up quite a folder for it. It's got some pretty fanart! I'm uncertain about my feelings on the pairing though.
Oh, I'm spoiled too because of FanfictionDownloader and AO3's neat little option where you can download fic. It can be a bit annoying to save fic off DW/LJ manually, especially if they're longer fic.
I'm not just out of the loop when it comes to music. TV shows, movies, books, etc. You name it and I'm probably out of the loop for it. One catchy song that I've been listening to almost nonstop for the past few weeks is Little Talks by Of Monsters and Men. Oh my goodness, it's so absolutely fantastic. And I can't get it out of my head. I tend to listen to a song until I get tired of and then give it a little while before listening to it again. And when I do, it's just as fantastic as the first time I've heard it. Though sometimes I don't get tired of it at all.

Alright, I was worried that I may have overstepped my boundaries or made you uncomfortable. Talking helps, huh? I feel like a burden whenever I talk about my depression. I'm thankful that you were able to get help and therapy. What medication are you on? And how much does it help? Battling depression is indeed a constant uphill battle, one that I know very well. It's good that it's working out for you and you're able to start to enjoy life as well as enjoying stuff that you had grown apathetic about. :3 It's a bit hard for me to describe my depression atm, but maybe I'll be able to put it into words later today. I'm currently in that phase, where I don't even want to get up or wake up. All I want to do is sleep. I'm also a bit uncomfortable talking about it, but because of decisions I've made and my current situation which is why I'm unable to get help.

I live in a small, rural town, and the library's small so there's a chance they may not have any of these. I've heard of Tamora Pierce, but I've never read any of her stuff. Heard she's a fantastic writer though. Hoor for strong, fleshed out, female protags! I'm absolutely glad to hear that the love interests are decent and that the romance doesn't overshadow the plot. Far to often the plot and character development take a backseat to the romance.
Joss totally enjoys seeing his characters suffer, doesn't he? I've heard that they had to rewrite season four because of Charisma's pregnancy and I've heard that Joss wasn't too happy that she was pregnant. Not sure how much truth is in that though. You're talking about the Jasmine thing, right? Yeah, I've been spoiled on that.
Psych's pretty good! The theme song's catchy as hell and fits the series perfectly. There's so many versions of the them song that I can't decide which is my favorite! It's a tossup between the original, the Spanish version, and the a Capella version. Shawn's very privileged and quite an asshole, but I can't stop watching the series. Veronica Mars? Isn't that getting getting a film? It's being funded through Kickstarter, I think. Will check it out! Seems right up my alley. Farscape sounds like my kind of series too. I enjoy Sci-Fi, so thanks! Sparatcus has a lot of hot, sweaty, bloody men brawling in it, right? please say yes... Lol. :3 Thank you for the rest of the recs as well. I ship Gai/Kakashi so damn hard. Like you wouldn't believe! These two, oh my god, these two are fucking perfect for each other. Seriously, while Kakashi acts like he's annoyed by Gai, (and to be honest he probably is) and doesn't care about him; you can just tell that he considers Gai his friend. His best friend, even. No one's as close to Kakashi as Gai is and for that reason, if Kakashi were to be in any sort of relationship, it would be him. I've never been too good at expressing myself in words, (though I'm trying my hardest and making a little progress in that area) particularly when it concerns something I absolutely adore, so I'll just leave you with some recs that hopefully convey why I love this pairing so damn much. Why do you like it? Maybe you can put it into words better than I can.

I was going to rec you some Cordelia/Angel fic in my last response, but I wasn't sure if you shipped them! :3 I'll have to reread it though and go through what Cordy/Angel fic I have bookmarked so I can rec you some awesome fic! I also have a Spike/Cordelia/Angel fic to rec you! Spike/Cordy is my second favorite Cordy pairing. Can you imagine the snark? It would be fantastic! You're right, it was so damn adorable. Especially of them taking care of Connor together! The whole gang was like a big family during that, even more so than normal, and gave me such feels! Gunn/Fred was dorky and adorable and oh my god, so damn good. Wasn't that big on Wes/Fred though, for some reason.
I can't seem to ship Aang with anyone, I just can't. I have no idea why, however if you have any Aang/Katara or Zuko/Aang recs, I'll gladly try them out. Sokka/Suki is good, but I must admit my favorite Sokka ship is Sokka/Toph with my second favorite being Sokka/Yue. Not much fic for for that, sadly.
I'm not sure why I keep up with Bleach anymore. I watched the anime on Adult Swim, but forgot about it and only started reading the manga a few years ago. It's really, really gone downhill and no I idea why I read it anymore. For the characters, I suppose. Especially Orihime. I managed to catch Martha's season of Doctor Who before I saw any of the other series, and I immediately loved her. Ten was a bit of an asshole to her and there's some issues I take with how she was written, but I love her. And I fucking love her with Ten. They had a lot of chemistry, imo, when he wasn't being all mopey. I'll dig up some Doctor Who recs for ya! I'll try to keep in him mind that you don't ship him sexually with any of the companions while reccing fic. Donna's awesome too and it was such a shame what happened to her. Absolutely heartbreaking.
Tbh, I never really cared for 1x2, 3x4, or 5x13 because, I, well, found them boring, among other reasons. And I don't particularly care for Treize that much. I mean there's some awesome fic for those pairings, but they're not my cup of tea. I'm such a huge Wufei fangirl and he's easily my favorite character in almost anything ever. He gets a lot of flack in fandom, and is vastly underappreciated imo. I could gush on and on about him, but I don't wish to annoy you. I've mostly stuck to Wufei pairings, other than venturing out, and trying to see what all the fuss was over the pairings you mentioned since the first two are quite big in the fandom. I'm trying to be more open-minded and try out the other alternate ships in GW, like 1x3, 2x3, 1x4, etc. I've got some GW recs if you want them. All of them Wufei pairings, lol.

I never really shipped Hiei/Kurama. Just didn't click for me, for some reason. I think I've got an aversion to a lot of the really popular ships that fandoms go gaga over, heh :3 Yusuke/Kuwabara could practically be canon. They acted much more like bickering boyfriends than rivals. I've got a few Kuwabara/Kurama recs, I think.

People randomly post on FS asking for fic recs for certain pairing or fandom sometimes and that is were I usually get recs from. Other times, I just find fic recs from secret posts. People will randomly start conversing over something and it becomes a rec thread. It’s more of a catch a rec while you can Pokémon style then general fic rec threads. So you should totally start a thread asking for fic recs/copies of fic from an author. Who was the author? We travelled in different pairing circles, but I know there was a lot of crosspollination as writers write what they wanna write pairing wise.
I keep hearing about fanfictiondownloader! I need to totally get it. Yeah, I’ve been lucky enough to be able to find a few fics from Harry Potter and a few smaller fandoms, but when I can’t find the fic it always makes me sad.

No it’s fine. If I get asked about it now I generally can talk about it. I’m a good listener too if you need someone to talk to. I am on Pristiq. It has been helpful so far. I mean, I have found that my mood has been more elevated so I do get things done more often than naught. Side effects for me have been very vivid dreams. I have been on other meds, but they didn’t work as well. One gave me insane heart palpitations that made me feel like my heart was gonna jump out of my body. Others didn’t do anything for me at all. I know how that phase feels. I still have moments were I go “what is the point?” and just wish it would all be over. But I am trying to think more positively even if I can’t think of what is positive in my life right now. It doesn’t work most of the time, but when it does, I feel a bit better for the time being. It took me years to be able to talk about my depression even to close friends, so I get it. For me, I started talking to people about my depression because I was floundering so hard that being silent was killing me as well. Talking about depression is always a very personal choice. I can talk about it now because I feel like I need to sometimes to remind myself that I’m a bit better than I was before.
I do not condone DLing books (so you didn’t hear this from me), but there are sites that you can find books on for free. Torrent sites and such. Or sometimes googling them for a PDF file can show results as well. But like I said, I know nothing of these things.
Yeah, I don’t like that recent books make sure that a love triangle is center to the plot and world building and having a dude who isn’t a complete ass aren’t big things they need to support.

I hear that Shawn’s redeeming factor is his friend Gus as he’s awesome. Is that true? Veronica Mars is getting a film! That’s why I’m watching it now. I can’t wait for it! Yes Spartacus has lots and lots of hot, sweaty, bloody men fighting in it. It’s beautiful. Lots of sex too and male nudity, not just female which makes me happy as I believe in equal opportunity perving for all. The drama shows I rec’d aren’t for all that’s for sure, but I love them.
Yeah, I still have no idea how to communicate with people on it like you can do on DW/LJ. Reading people reblog other people’s posts and comments again and again isn’t as fun as actually interacting with someone. Holding a convo like we’re doing here seems impossible there. And there is so much stuff to surf through all the time and if people don’t tag things correctly it can turn into a nightmare.
Why do I like snarry? Oh man, a friend years ago told me about snarry after I had told her about a really bad Draco/Harry fic someone had rec’d me trying get me to ship them (Draco was a vampire and Harry was giving birth to their vampire baby on the first page. This is pre-Twilight of course). I pretty well told her snarry was disgusting and like fuck no, Snape’s a greasy ass teacher who is a total dick. Just no. She wanted to rec me fics and I wouldn’t let her as I was so turned off by it. So of course back at home, I have to search for snarry as I was sure it didn’t actually exist – or if it did, it existed in a limited capacity. So I was shocked when I found out it was insanely popular. So I clicked on a few fics, and got hooked on people’s characterizations of Snape and Harry and their interactions together. It’s not the happiest paring as they do hate each other in the books, but I love how authors explore the dynamics between them. It’s angry and lusty and full of passion and I just dig it. I like AU’s between them as well as long as Snape is still his surly self. Snape and Harry bring out the worst in each other, but in fics, they can also bring out the best. It just works for me. I don’t know if I explained myself properly, haha. Snarry is definitely an acquired taste and not liking it is totally understandable. I just love it. I guess I liked messed up pairings sometimes.
I totally think Kakashi thinks Gai is his bff. I love his annoyed “faces” that he gives Gai all the time. I think it was the beginning of the shippuden arc when Gai carried Kakashi on his back, because he used up to much chakra… my heart was full that day. I don’t know if I can put it in better words that why I love them together either (and I think you did fine btw)… I just do. They’re a comedic straight man funny man duo. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE RECS!!!! I haven’t read a Gai/Kakashi fic in a while, so this is great!
My fav characters are Gai and Lee so they go good with everyone, haha. I wrote some Gai/Lee and one Lee/Sakura way back when. I am pretty sure I deleted it tho when I deleted an old journal from high school.
I am up for Angel/Cordy fic for sure! Or Spike/Angel/Cordy whatever. It’s all awesome to me. The snark would be killer between Spike and Cordy. I’m sad they never interacted in Buffy really. Angel/Cordy make great parents together. The whole gang taking care of Connor was so cute. I love Gunn/Fred so damn much. I wasn’t a Wes/Fred shipper either. Gunn and Fred were so much cuter together. For Buffy pairings: I was really into Anya/Giles for a bit. I also like all the canon couples as well. I do have fic saved for Angel/Lindsey, but I don’t know if that would be your cuppa tea (another dark paring of mine). Besides that, I don’t have much. I always wanted to read Angel fic, I just never knew where to start.

Well Hiei/Kurama introduced me to the yaoi/slash side of fandom so I owe my fangirl depravity to them XD I found a random site with a pretty fan picture of a man and woman looking lovingly at each other, then realised it wasn’t a man and woman and never looked back. Kuwabara/Yusuke did. They’re fighting always made me laugh.
Mmm. Well what I like about Dean/Cas. Well I have learned from writing to you I like slightly dark and angsty pairings. Having said that, lots of Dean/Cas fics are not angsty or dark. They’re very friendshipy and fluffy. In the show, Castiel is written a lot in my perspective (especially early on) that he was in love with Dean. And they have a strong, but messed up friendship that is great to explore in fic. The other main pairing in Supernatural is also Dean/Sam. And while I love both boys, shipping them together is just not my cup of tea. So when Castiel came from above and he had staring matches with Dean and moments of misunderstanding and when Dean was told Castiel’s weakness was the fact that he liked him, I shipped it. I also like Crowly/Castiel, but that’s another messed up ship. Man, I feel a bit twisted realising that I ship so many darkish pairings!

I was around for the beginning of a lot of fandoms when I think of it. I got into some fandoms like Gundam Wing because of fanfic. Back then I read fic for GW, DBZ, Yu Yu Hakusho, Tenchi, Slayers, Harry Potter, Gravitation, Fake, Beyblade, Yugioh, CLAMP, and other minor fandoms. So much of the fic I recall I can't find anymore. It's so disheartening. So I feel you on the loss.
Men with scars are sexy. Mmm. CLAMP has some sexy scarred men in their works. I thought everyone sung along to the songs in anime, haha. I know I do!
Dirty Pair does seem a lot more feasible to watch then Lupin right now. I wish I had more cash, sigh. I believe they re-released the first (?) series again.

I was lucky enough to be able to read Emma as my library had it. It was good. It was like a less melodramatic Downton Abbey (well the ending was a bit dramatic, but still good). I still want to see the anime version of it. I think that's being re-released as well in a slimmer packaging. Holy crap you're right! Tokyopop is back! I'm so out of the loop! They seem to be doing a lot of e-book releases. Crazy. Glad to see them back!
I'm also a depression sufferer. I know how it is to have interests killed. I stopped reading for a long time as well. I read more now, but for a while I couldn't go into bookstore or the library without getting more depressed because I didn't want to read them. It's better now, but I still have days like that more often then I'd like. I don't know if I could help with book recs, but I find reading YA novels a bit easier as they don't tax my brain and I can view them as fluff for the most part, which makes reading easier to digest. I've finally started reading fanfic again as well. Fanfic makes me happy :D
I watch OUAT, Doctor Who, True Blood, Supernatural, Buffy, and Angel as well. I have finished Buffy and Angel (and love both of them flaws and all). Yeah, the stuff with Cordelia sucks majorly. They kinda make it better in season 5 where Cordy comes back and gets a proper sendoff, but season 4 was so cruel to her. If you can make it through s4, s5 is very very good tho. It's the funniest season to me.

I read Emma online and was enchanted by it that after reading, I went to look and see if it was licensed. Then I found out CMX manga closed down and was so disappointed. I've seen a few episodes of the anime version! It's good! The music in it is so good too! The opening and ending things are all instrumentals! Glad to hear it! I hope that you'll be able to finish the manga series that you were unable to pick up!

Just want to know you're doing better. Losing interest is so damn terrible. And I'm starting to lose interest in the few things that still make me happy.

Yay for finding GW though fic! I remember a site called GW Yaoi I think that had a green background... I always read 1x2 fic there. I wasn't a part of the ship wars in GW, but I did see some of the fights and read fics that bashed Relena to hell and back. So through fic I hated her, which I'm not proud of. Now me and her are cool, haha.
I do save fic now! AO3 and its epub/pdf file sharing ways is the best ♥ I love the fact that I can save fic to my computer now so I can go back and reread stuff. Whenever I find out a fic is only available on like LJ, I get sad because there's no handy dl button / AO3 spoiled

No it's fine. I find talking about my fight with depression helps. I am doing better. I have been lucky enough to be able to go to therapy and work out a bunch of my issues (this time. Long time sufferer here as well). I also take meds, so that helps as well to level out my moods. It is still constantly an uphill battle as I'm kinda stuck in life right now, but I leave bed, take showers, talk to friends, go for walks, which are all wins in my book (I went through a dark period where leaving my bed was like a solid victory for the day). I have slowly gained back small loves like playing video games, reading fanfics, and dancing to music, all things I had lost a passion for. I have bad days were I don't want to talk to a single living person still, but those days are fewer. If you don't mind me asking, how is your depression? (If you don't want to answer, I understand as well.)

Oh, I've heard really good things about Psych! It is on my to watch list. TV show recs? Mmmmmmmm. Between the both of us we've named the shows I love a lot. I am watching Veronica Mars right now, which I love so far. I caught bits and pieces when I was younger, but we didn't have a million cable channels, so I had to watch it at other people's places. I also love Farscape. S1 takes some time to kick into action, but S2 picks up and then S3&4 are perfection in my eyes. It's a very good scifi show. Spartacus is also amazing, but beware people die all the time in it. It's a bloody, cheesy mess, and it is so damn grand. I have a soft spot for dramas as well, so I love Brothers & Sisters, Grey's Anatomy, and Private Practice. All those shows are soapy drama fun.
I'm not active on my tumblr either. I generally like art and browse fs like communities.
Haha. I don't know how versatile I am... I mean I have my main OTP in a fandom and then I have everyone else who I ship together. The two people in my OTP I generally don't ship with anyone else. I love Snape/Harry to this day and can't ship them with other people... and it doesn't even make sense to me why I can't anymore, haha.

Waybackmachine is another godsend, but it's frustrating when it doesn't have the page archived or the server hosting those webpages is down.
I can't think of any of GW fic that I've come across with a green background, but I do know of when with a hideous layout with a blue background that's still up and running. It's called Deb's Dragon Gundam Wing Diaries. Oh yeah, I've come across the Relena hate, but not as much as you did because I mostly stick to those four GW pairings I listed. I was pretty indifferent to her, but she's growing on me. If you saw my Gundam Wing folder, you'd think I shipped 1xR because I've been building up quite a folder for it. It's got some pretty fanart! I'm uncertain about my feelings on the pairing though.
Oh, I'm spoiled too because of FanfictionDownloader and AO3's neat little option where you can download fic. It can be a bit annoying to save fic off DW/LJ manually, especially if they're longer fic.
I'm not just out of the loop when it comes to music. TV shows, movies, books, etc. You name it and I'm probably out of the loop for it. One catchy song that I've been listening to almost nonstop for the past few weeks is Little Talks by Of Monsters and Men. Oh my goodness, it's so absolutely fantastic. And I can't get it out of my head. I tend to listen to a song until I get tired of and then give it a little while before listening to it again. And when I do, it's just as fantastic as the first time I've heard it. Though sometimes I don't get tired of it at all.

Alright, I was worried that I may have overstepped my boundaries or made you uncomfortable. Talking helps, huh? I feel like a burden whenever I talk about my depression. I'm thankful that you were able to get help and therapy. What medication are you on? And how much does it help? Battling depression is indeed a constant uphill battle, one that I know very well. It's good that it's working out for you and you're able to start to enjoy life as well as enjoying stuff that you had grown apathetic about. :3 It's a bit hard for me to describe my depression atm, but maybe I'll be able to put it into words later today. I'm currently in that phase, where I don't even want to get up or wake up. All I want to do is sleep. I'm also a bit uncomfortable talking about it, but because of decisions I've made and my current situation which is why I'm unable to get help.

I live in a small, rural town, and the library's small so there's a chance they may not have any of these. I've heard of Tamora Pierce, but I've never read any of her stuff. Heard she's a fantastic writer though. Hoor for strong, fleshed out, female protags! I'm absolutely glad to hear that the love interests are decent and that the romance doesn't overshadow the plot. Far to often the plot and character development take a backseat to the romance.
Joss totally enjoys seeing his characters suffer, doesn't he? I've heard that they had to rewrite season four because of Charisma's pregnancy and I've heard that Joss wasn't too happy that she was pregnant. Not sure how much truth is in that though. You're talking about the Jasmine thing, right? Yeah, I've been spoiled on that.
Psych's pretty good! The theme song's catchy as hell and fits the series perfectly. There's so many versions of the them song that I can't decide which is my favorite! It's a tossup between the original, the Spanish version, and the a Capella version. Shawn's very privileged and quite an asshole, but I can't stop watching the series. Veronica Mars? Isn't that getting getting a film? It's being funded through Kickstarter, I think. Will check it out! Seems right up my alley. Farscape sounds like my kind of series too. I enjoy Sci-Fi, so thanks! I ship Gai/Kakashi so damn hard. Like you wouldn't believe! These two, oh my god, these two are fucking perfect for each other. Seriously, while Kakashi acts like he's annoyed by Gai, (and to be honest he probably is) and doesn't care about him; you can just tell that he considers Gai his friend. His best friend, even. No one's as close to Kakashi as Gai is and for that reason, if Kakashi were to be in any sort of relationship, it would be him. I've never been too good at expressing myself in words, (though I'm trying my hardest and making a little progress in that area) particularly when it concerns something I absolutely adore, so I'll just leave you with some recs that hopefully convey why I love this pairing so damn much. Why do you like it? Maybe you can put it into words better than I can.

Gunn/Fred was dorky and adorable and oh my god, so damn good. Wasn't that big on Wes/Fred though, for some reason.
I can't seem to ship Aang with anyone, I just can't. I have no idea why, however if you have any Aang/Katara or Zuko/Aang recs, I'll gladly try them out. Sokka/Suki is good, but I must admit my favorite Sokka ship is Sokka/Toph with my second favorite being Sokka/Yue. Not much fic for for that, sadly.
I'm not sure why I keep up with Bleach anymore. I watched the anime on Adult Swim, but forgot about it and only started reading the manga a few years ago. It's really, really gone downhill and no I idea why I read it anymore. For the characters, I suppose. Especially Orihime. I managed to catch Martha's season of Doctor Who before I saw any of the other series, and I immediately loved her. Ten was a bit of an asshole to her and there's some issues I take with how she was written, but I love her. And I fucking love her with Ten. They had a lot of chemistry, imo, when he wasn't being all mopey. I'll dig up some Doctor Who recs for ya! I'll try to keep in him mind that you don't ship him sexually with any of the companions while reccing fic. Donna's awesome too and it was such a shame what happened to her. Absolutely heartbreaking.
Tbh, I never really cared for 1x2, 3x4, or 5x13 because, I, well, found them boring, among other reasons. And I don't particularly care for Treize that much. I mean there's some awesome fic for those pairings, but they're not my cup of tea. I'm such a huge Wufei fangirl and he's easily my favorite character in almost anything ever. He gets a lot of flack in fandom, and is vastly underappreciated imo. I could gush on and on about him, but I don't wish to annoy you. I've mostly stuck to Wufei pairings, other than venturing out, and trying to see what all the fuss was over the pairings you mentioned since the first two are quite big in the fandom. I'm trying to be more open-minded and try out the other alternate ships in GW, like 1x3, 2x3, 1x4, etc. I've got some GW recs if you want them. All of them Wufei pairings, lol.

No it’s fine. If I get asked about it now I generally can talk about it. I’m a good listener too if you need someone to talk to. I am on Pristiq. It has been helpful so far. I mean, I have found that my mood has been more elevated so I do get things done more often than naught. Side effects for me have been very vivid dreams. I have been on other meds, but they didn’t work as well. One gave me insane heart palpitations that made me feel like my heart was gonna jump out of my body. Others didn’t do anything for me at all. I know how that phase feels. I still have moments were I go “what is the point?” and just wish it would all be over. But I am trying to think more positively even if I can’t think of what is positive in my life right now. It doesn’t work most of the time, but when it does, I feel a bit better for the time being. It took me years to be able to talk about my depression even to close friends, so I get it. For me, I started talking to people about my depression because I was floundering so hard that being silent was killing me as well. Talking about depression is always a very personal choice. I can talk about it now because I feel like I need to sometimes to remind myself that I’m a bit better than I was before.
I do not condone DLing books (so you didn’t hear this from me), but there are sites that you can find books on for free. Torrent sites and such. Or sometimes googling them for a PDF file can show results as well. But like I said, I know nothing of these things.
Yeah, I don’t like that recent books make sure that a love triangle is center to the plot and world building and having a dude who isn’t a complete ass aren’t big things they need to support.

I hear that Shawn’s redeeming factor is his friend Gus as he’s awesome. Is that true? Veronica Mars is getting a film! That’s why I’m watching it now. I can’t wait for it! Yes Spartacus has lots and lots of hot, sweaty, bloody men fighting in it. It’s beautiful. Lots of sex too and male nudity, not just female which makes me happy as I believe in equal opportunity perving for all. The drama shows I rec’d aren’t for all that’s for sure, but I love them.
Yeah, I still have no idea how to communicate with people on it like you can do on DW/LJ. Reading people reblog other people’s posts and comments again and again isn’t as fun as actually interacting with someone. Holding a convo like we’re doing here seems impossible there. And there is so much stuff to surf through all the time and if people don’t tag things correctly it can turn into a nightmare.
Why do I like snarry? Oh man, a friend years ago told me about snarry after I had told her about a really bad Draco/Harry fic someone had rec’d me trying get me to ship them (Draco was a vampire and Harry was giving birth to their vampire baby on the first page. This is pre-Twilight of course). I pretty well told her snarry was disgusting and like fuck no, Snape’s a greasy ass teacher who is a total dick. Just no. She wanted to rec me fics and I wouldn’t let her as I was so turned off by it. So of course back at home, I have to search for snarry as I was sure it didn’t actually exist – or if it did, it existed in a limited capacity. So I was shocked when I found out it was insanely popular. So I clicked on a few fics, and got hooked on people’s characterizations of Snape and Harry and their interactions together. It’s not the happiest paring as they do hate each other in the books, but I love how authors explore the dynamics between them. It’s angry and lusty and full of passion and I just dig it. I like AU’s between them as well as long as Snape is still his surly self. Snape and Harry bring out the worst in each other, but in fics, they can also bring out the best. It just works for me. I don’t know if I explained myself properly, haha. Snarry is definitely an acquired taste and not liking it is totally understandable. I just love it. I guess I liked messed up pairings sometimes.
I totally think Kakashi thinks Gai is his bff. I love his annoyed “faces” that he gives Gai all the time. I think it was the beginning of the shippuden arc when Gai carried Kakashi on his back, because he used up to much chakra… my heart was full that day. I don’t know if I can put it in better words that why I love them together either (and I think you did fine btw)… I just do. They’re a comedic straight man funny man duo. Gunn and Fred were so much cuter together. For Buffy pairings: I was really into Anya/Giles for a bit. I also like all the canon couples as well. I do have fic saved for Angel/Lindsey, but I don’t know if that would be your cuppa tea (another dark paring of mine). Besides that, I don’t have much. I always wanted to read Angel fic, I just never knew where to start.
I know lots of people don’t like shipping Aang. I love him to bits tho. Man, talking to you has made me realise what depression did to my love of fics. I really didn’t read fic for a long time. I wish I had recs to pile onto you! Why do you love Sokka/Toph so much? I think they would make an adorable couple personally, but what draws you to that pairing?
I fell out with Bleach as well. Like with Naruto, there are so many eps and volumes that with my life as it fluxuates it’s been hard to keep up with such long running series. I still visit Wikipedia and read up with what’s happening to all the characters tho. And I do read the manga for Naruto once and awhile when I can.
I love Martha ♥ I loved that she was a strong career woman and that while she was in love with the Doctor, she didn’t let that blind her. I will read any recs, sexual or no. I can go with it as long as it is written well. All my feelings to Donna and how her storyline ended. She was to awesome to forget everything.
Nah, I get that. I have a tendency to ship popular ships a lot. I am boring. I will assimilate myself to become one of the masses /Star Trek fan moment. I do have rare pairs, but not many, not that I won’t read them of course. The only rare pair I have going on for me right now is Danny/Stiles from Teen Wolf. I feel so boring, haha. I love Wufei too. His backstory is so depressing. I’ll give your recs a shot. I mean I am a die hard 1x2, 3x4 shipper (my one true OTP thing coming back), but I will try and let that go.
Well Hiei/Kurama introduced me to the yaoi/slash side of fandom so I owe my fangirl depravity to them XD I found a random site with a pretty fan picture of a man and woman looking lovingly at each other, then realised it wasn’t a man and woman and never looked back. Kuwabara/Yusuke did. They’re fighting always made me laugh.
Mmm. Well what I like about Dean/Cas. Well I have learned from writing to you I like slightly dark and angsty pairings. Having said that, lots of Dean/Cas fics are not angsty or dark. They’re very friendshipy and fluffy. In the show, Castiel is written a lot in my perspective (especially early on) that he was in love with Dean. And they have a strong, but messed up friendship that is great to explore in fic. The other main pairing in Supernatural is also Dean/Sam. And while I love both boys, shipping them together is just not my cup of tea. So when Castiel came from above and he had staring matches with Dean and moments of misunderstanding and when Dean was told Castiel’s weakness was the fact that he liked him, I shipped it. I also like Crowly/Castiel, but that’s another messed up ship. Man, I feel a bit twisted realising that I ship so many darkish pairings!
